Terms of Use
Effective 28 September 2026
These terms apply when you use the Roll for Goal mobile application and website (the “service”). The service is provided by Ammar Mustafa, Thuringer Weg 57, 33102 Paderborn, Germany (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or playing as a guest, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The service
Roll for Goal is a free game in which you predict football scores (“rolls”) with other members of private groups, earn points and compare standings. It is for entertainment only.
Roll for Goal is not gambling. There is no stake, no payout and no real money involved, and we do not award prizes. You must not use the service to organise betting, a money pool or any game in which players pay to take part or play for money or other valuables.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 13 years old, or at least 16 in countries of the European Economic Area where that is the age required to consent to online services. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the service only with the permission of a parent or guardian.
3. Your account
- Give accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for what happens through your account.
- A guest account lives on your device until you save it with an email address, Apple or Google. If you lose the device or remove the app before saving it, the guest account and its rolls may be lost.
- You can delete your account at any time in the app or through our account deletion page.
4. Groups and group owners
Groups are private and joined by invitation. The member who creates a group owns it and can invite, promote and remove members, and decide which games the group plays. Owners are responsible for how they run their group and must not use it to break these terms.
5. Content rules
You are responsible for the names and other content you submit, including display names, group names, game names, custom team names and reactions. We do not tolerate objectionable content or abusive users. You must not submit content or behave in a way that:
- is hateful, discriminatory, threatening, harassing or bullying;
- is sexually explicit, violent or otherwise offensive;
- impersonates someone or misleads others about who you are;
- shares another person's personal information without their permission;
- is unlawful, infringes someone else's rights, or promotes gambling or illegal activity; or
- is spam or advertising.
You keep ownership of your content. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display and process it only as needed to run the service, for as long as it remains in the service.
6. Reporting and moderation
We check names when you type them and refuse ones with offensive words. If you see a player name, a group name, or the label or a team name of a custom match that breaks these rules, report it in the app: open the member list, the group menu or the game menu and choose “Report”. You can also email support@rollforgoal.com. Group owners can remove members from their groups, and you can leave a group at any time.
We review every report within 48 hours. If the content breaks these rules, we replace it with a neutral name and give its author a warning. A player whose name we replace may choose a new one once. A second warning closes the account: it can no longer sign in. We may also remove users from groups, or suspend or delete accounts that break these terms in other ways.
7. Fair play
Do not interfere with the service or with other players. In particular, do not try to see rolls before they are revealed, access accounts or data that are not yours, use bots or automated access, overload or probe the service, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows.
8. Fixtures, results and scoring
Fixtures, kick-off times and results come from third-party football-data providers or from the group members who enter them. We try to keep them accurate, but they may be delayed, changed or wrong. When a result is corrected, points and standings update to match. Custom fixtures are the responsibility of the members who create them.
Roll for Goal is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any league, competition, club or football association. Their names are used only to identify the matches you predict and belong to their owners.
9. Our rights
The app, website, design, brand and scoring content belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your own non-commercial use, in line with these terms and the rules of the app store you downloaded it from.
10. Changes to the service and to these terms
We may change, add or remove features, or stop the service, and we will give reasonable notice of important changes where we can. We may update these terms; if a change materially affects you, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you continue to use the service after that, the updated terms apply.
11. Ending your use
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if the law requires it.
12. Liability
The service is provided free of charge. We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and where mandatory law, such as product liability law, provides so. For slight negligence, we are liable only for breach of an obligation that is essential to the service and on which you may rely, and then only for foreseeable damage typical of this kind of service. Otherwise, we are not liable for slight negligence. We do not guarantee that the service will always be available or free of errors.
13. Apple App Store
If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, the following also applies:
- These terms are between you and us, not Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for the app and its content.
- Your licence to use the app is limited to Apple-branded devices you own or control, as allowed by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for maintenance and support. Apple has no obligation to provide support for the app.
- If the app fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund any purchase price you paid for it. To the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for handling any claims relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection or privacy claims.
- If a third party claims the app or your use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of that claim.
- You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- You must comply with any third-party terms that apply when you use the app, such as your mobile carrier's terms.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and, once you accept them, may enforce them against you.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring claims in the courts of that country.
15. Privacy
Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information.
